Yes, there is something rather childish about peak-bagging, but sometimes keeping score can help put things in perspective. It makes it so much easier to keep track of where you've been and where you're going. Personally, I climbed all the 4000'ers just to see what each looks like. You don't know what you're missing unless you make the effort to go see for yourself. Now, I'm working on California peaks.(W=winter ascent)
