Comment: My approach shoes didn't hold up too well in the midday sun while hiking to find Misery. The soles delaminated, and I had to wrap the shoes in athletic tape to hold them together for the hike back. (I figure they deserve it - they were a little tight and now one of my toenails is black. grr.)

Comment: Hi, I was up late tonight and typed in scary pics and got your site. Although I was searching for ghosts and creepy crawlies I really enjoyed my visit. I am a photographer and must say you have a real talent for taking pictures. I also found it interesting that you have a degree in biology since I am on my way to university in the fall of 2003 to work towards a bachelors in biology. Comment: Arrived too early in Red Rocks, played around on some random rock formations. This one's between Red Spring and Moderate Mecca somewhere. Fun, but next time I'd wear climbing shoes.
